Pago [from Latin PAGUS]: Designation of Origin that certifies quality and know-how, rising the holder to the summit of vitiviniculture excellence. 1st Pago rose wine in Spain.
Accolades: 90 Points – Guia Peñin 2014
Grape Variety: A different rosé
made up of Garnacha and Cabernet-Sauvignon
Tasting Notes:It displays an attractive and intense strawberry pink color and has aromas of great intensity that are reminiscent of red fruit preserves (strawberry and blackberries) with notes of cream and fresh herbs. On the palate it is balanced, savory and lively, with crisp acidity that cleans the mouth. Very distinctive, with more structure than is usual for this type of wine: intense, fragrant, with body and a great aromatic range, all of which explains why it is Spain's very first and only exsting Vino de Pago Rosado. Best served between (7ªC – 8ªC).
