l de Ayles
Pago [from Latin PAGUS]: Designation of Origin that certifies quality and know-how, rising the holder to the summit of vitiviniculture excellence. The only rosé Pago wine in Spain and with a black bottle in a limited edition.
Accolades: 90 Points – Guia Peñin 2014
Grape Variety: A different rosé made up of Garnacha and Cabernet-Sauvignon
Tasting Notes: It displays an attractive and intense strawberry pink color and has aromas of great intensity that are reminiscent of red fruit preserves(strawberry and raspberry) with notes of cream and fresh herbs. On the palate it is balanced, savory and lively, and has a long fruity finish. Very distinctive, with more structure than is usual for this type of wine: intense, fragrant, with body and a great aromatic range, all of which explains why it is Spain's very first and only existing Vino de Pago Rosado..Best served between 7ºC – 8ºC.
